The room was square and had two basket ball hoops at both end and bleachers all around. A stand sat up in the front and there were chairs that lined the front of it. Nightcrawler had been dreading what he was going to say to the students that were going to be coming back to the acadamy this year. Walking back and forth behind his desk his tail wegging behind him. He stroked his chin, thinking about what to say then grabbing a pensil off his desk with a tail. He threw it into his hand and grabbed a note book and threw it into his other hand, the same way again.
This gave the students to show up and get into the gym so he could talk to them about the new school year. "Vhat am I going to say?" He thought to himself hitting himself in the chin with the pencil then wrote down something. This was followed by him scratching out something and making a tisk tisk sound with his mouth. It was hard for him to think since he thought no one was going to come back after what had happened almost a year ago. The school was attacked by a mutant named Salt Man. Who they thought worked under Magneto. Though he had killed Magneto and seeked the Xmen next. He killed mostly all of them, Night Crawler was the only one that had gotten away or so he thought.
He had been leading the students out of the school when the X-men tried to stop Satl Man though failed losing there life. This played in his head a few times before a soft knocked turned his attention to the door. Walking out from around his desk he opened the door slowley and in a german accent said, "Yes?" He arched one of his eyebrows before seeing someone there telling him that he was on in five minutes. This made Nightcrawler sweat even more, he had to brush it off with the sleave of his jacket before walking out of his office again and making his way to the gym.

Crystal sighed, leaning up against the wall otuside of the gymnasium while waiting for this orientation to start. She wasn't sure what all the fuss was about, but she knew that it couldn't be good. She merely stood there, snapping her fingers continuously which caused small shards of ice to fly in every which direction as her fingers brushed against each other. The blonde was growing quite impatient with everything, which wasn't a big surprise. She had no patience and a short fused temper. A small groan escaped her lips as her snapping ceased.
"Come on already," Crystal grumbled, turning around the corner and peaking into the gymnasium. Kids were filing in slowly, which only added to her impatience. She shook her head, her blonde tresses falling over her shoulders. Crystal finally couldn't take the standing any long, pushing through the line of students and walking into the rather large gymnasium. She raised an eyebrow in amusement as she watched everyone trying to get a good seat. Her eyes darted up to the stage where a good friend of her's appeared.
Sighing, she made her way up to the front and took a seat. Propping her legs up on the stage and crossing her hands in her lap, Crystal waited there with her icy blue eyes fixated on the wall before her. "Please let this start soon," she muttered to herself, scratching at the back of her neck with chilled hands. That was the downside of being able to summon ice out of her fingertips, cold hands all the time. A small smirk played at her lips at that thought, seeing as how it was so silly to be thinking of that instead of trying to figure out what the orientation was going to be like.

Bella walked through the crowd of students pretty quickly, but then again many didn't have 5 ft Tornadoes on their side to push the crowd away. It wasn't rough just a small shove. She had been wondering what the teachers needed to tell them. It had to be important or else there wouldn't be any need of coming into the gym. She secretly wished it wasn't something too important. Trouble was the least the wanted for her kind
As soon as Bella entered the Gymnasium loud thunder could be heard from outside and her tornadoes died out. . Call if showing off, but it was simply her thing. She had the need to do something letting others know that Bella Rayne had entered the room if not she was just not being herself. "Must you do that every time?" asked a boy with fuzzy orange hair as she walked to find a seat. He had been sitting with his friends. "Yeah....you're right" she turned back as she looke dup at the ceiling then down to his face. "Maybe next time I should just make lightning hit you" she said with smirk and continued walking. If it was something she hated were people who tried to show off infront of friends. She showed off, but didn't have the need to do so infront of her friends.
"Crystal" she grinned as she neared the row her bestfriend sat in. "Excuse me" she said as she passed by a few and would occassional pushed someone, but it was an accident..."I wonder whats so important" she said in a hushed voice as she took a seat next to Crystal. Looking straight ahead of her she saw a friend of hers, he was also a teacher. Bella yawned as she crossed her legs. She placed her hands gently on her lap as her brown eyes looked around the Gymnasim. It was quickly getting filled, but still some were missing.
She passed her fingers through her blonde hair. She had a habbit of dying it green, but decided to change it back to its natural color. It wasn't that bad although she loved getting into her outfit. "When is this going to start?" she asked as she looked down at her watch. Sometimes it was hard to be patient.

Riley walked through the halls of the mansion, wearing a white tank top and blue ripped jeans, and noticed no one was around. She thought it was very strange to be walking around through empty hallways. After going to a few of the main places, where bunch of students would hang out and finding it all empty, was creeping her out a bit. She began to wonder where everyone was, then all of a sudden she remembered that there was an orientation, that everyone must attened too.
So Riley quickly began heading towards the gym. As she was walking towards it, she began to hear all of the students, talking to each other. Once she got to the gym, she noticed all the chairs were filled up, so she remained standing at the back of the gym. While Riley was standing there, she over heard a couple of students asking each other when the thing was going to start and what was it all about. Riley could sence that everyone was getting bored and tired of sitting still.
Riley looked up at the stage and then closed her eyes, to try and find Nightcrawler's mind and wondered where he was. She had a feeling what it was all about, cause she was at the mansion last year and saw what had happened to most of the X-men. She had wished that she could have helped them out, and maybe even had saved their lives, by healing them, but they didn't want her to be there and to go with the students. Riley was still upset about it, she wasn't a student, since she already knew how to conrol her powers, but she lived here at the mansion and hoped to help out around the place.

A meeting in the gym... Anna shook her head as she carefully brushed her hair into a ponytail and tied it in place with an elastic. Her navy blue t-shirt that her aunt had sent her in a care package shimmered as she put down her hair brush. Must be important. She rummaged through her bottom drawer until she found a comfortable pair of navy blue Levis to match her shirt and slipped them on. She looked presentable. Simple was best at this academy, you never knew what you would be required to do. She nodded at her reflection and left the girl dorms. She headed down to the gym humming good naturedly. She came in just behind her best friend Riley and touched Riley's shoulder lightly.
"Looks like a pretty big crowd, aye?" She looked around. Well, a few people are missing, but other than that we're pretty much all here. "What do you say we find a place to sit that's not too far from the front?"
As a general rule, Anna liked to at least be in a good view and hearing range of what was going on. She loved observing things in detail and prefered the front row to the back row. Maybe it was because she learned easiest that way, or maybe it was because she was just an avid student who liked to make sure she understood what was being said the way it was being said.

While Riley was looking for Nightcrawler, she then felt someone touch her shoulder. She then stoped looking for him and opened her eyes to see Anna standing beside her. "Hey Anna! Yeah I think it would be a good idea to find some seats." she said to her. Riley then looked around and noticed two empty seats up at the front. "I see two empty seats up there. Let's quickly go get them before someone else takes them." she said to her with a smile. Riley then began to walk up to the front.
Once she got there and noticed who was sitting beside the empty chairs. "Hey Bella!" she said to her and sat down beside her. "How's everything going?" she asked Bella. Riley hadn't seen Bella for awhile and was glad to see her again.

Walking down the long hall to the Gymnasium. He felt himself dragging his feet down the hall his tail dragging on the carpet as well. As he walked down the doors of the Gym and peered in on the students already sitting in the chairs that were all aligned. He still didn't know what he was going to say to them but grinned his teeth before looking back up at the podium not to far from the aligned chairs. There came the notable sound of "BAMF!" There came a cloud of blue smoke and the smell of brimstone and sulfer. He then reappered with the same "Bamf" sound.
"Vhellcome students," Kurt muttered infront of them noticing a girl with green hair knowing her by the name of Nature mostly. He was glade that they were coming back to the instatue this year. "To another year here." He muttered before pressing his three fingers together. His tail standing up behind him. "Most of you haz heard or scene the tragatese of last year." He muttered not watning to say another word a girl that he loved went missing when the old school collapsed. "I hope you all like zis new school." Saying this he let his tail pick up the mic that was infront of him and put it to his mouth.
Walking down to the students he walked infront of the podium and sat down infront of it. "All ze old Xmen vill alvays be remembered." As he said this Kitty flashed in his mind making the edges of his lips pull tight across his face showing a pleasent smile to all his students. "Zare was one of them that I villy cared about." He told them as he then didn't want to get into his personal life. A tear rolling down his fuzzy blue face, "She vill be missed in my heart." He told them as he walked around the place looking at every one of the students knowing most of them from last year.

"Good find, Riley!" Anna laughed softly as she followed, not wanting to draw too much attention to herself as the two made their way to the front and claimed the seats desired. Her hands entwined on her lap and she looked at Bella whom Riley was talking to. "Hey Bella, good to see you again." She smiled at her close friend.
The "Bamf" sound announced the arrival of Professor Nightcrawler. His heavily accented voice spoke as she turned to watch and listen to him, her complete attention on him as much as it would have been on Professor Xavier. Her hands gripped each other tightly. Professor Xavier had been the one to introduce her to the school and to teach her how to have complete control over her telekinesis and how to make the most of the power granted her from that. He had quickly become like the grandfather she had never had and when he had been killed, she had not been able to stop crying for days on end. Her tears she had shed were safely in phials on a shelf in the medical room, as she didn't believe in wasting one drop of their healing properties.
Her attention was brought back to the present when Professor Nightcrawler began speaking again. She could tell by his tone of voice and the tear that the person he was referring to was indeed special to him. It tugged at her heart to see a pain that couldn't be healed physically, it would take time for that particular wound to heal. Indeed, all the old X-Men would be remembered... they would never be forgotten if anyone in this room had anything to say about it.

Soon after Riley had sit down beside Bella, she heard someone entering the gym, and knew who it was. She then saw him appear up onto the stage. She watched him as he spoke, knowing that he was trying to be positive and not worry anyone, but all broken up inside and would want to be alone. She listened to Nightcrawler as he was talking about what had happened last year, and many memories from what had happened flashed through her mind.
Riley then heard Nightcrawler sawing that he had lost a loved one, and knew who it was. She was friends with Kitty, before she had past away. Riley wished, that nothing like that had happened, but she couldn't change the past and knew that she had to except what had happened and make sure that nothing like that would ever happen again.

Blaze sighed as he walked along the quiet halls. it seemed weird that the halls were so empty. He then heard some talking from the gym , he made face and began to walk toward the gym door. Blaze would have his dads old shark lighter clenched his right hand , he carried it around every with him. Seeing it was the only thing he had left of his father , besides a couple pictures his mom had left him when she died.
He then looked into the clear glass window seeing some students and night crawler. Whats going on in there blaze thought to him self. then fixing a wrinkle that was at the bottom of his long sleeved shirt that used to be his dads.Could hurt to as blaze thought reaching for the door handle. hoping he was late for something or interrupting a special meeting he was suppose to be at or a club meeting.
Blaze then opened the big oak door and stepped in. And walked up to the group of people switching his dads lighter into his left hand. " um whats going on here' Blaze ask politely. Hoping he would not get yelled at and kicked out like some shop lifter in a clothes store.

Riley was listening to Nightcrawler, then she heard someone opening up the gym door. She looked back and noticed Blaze walking in. She watched him as he walked up closer to the front of the stage. As he got closer he soon stop and asked what was going on. She noticed that there was an empty chair beside Anna. "It's an Orientation. Why don't you sit down in the empty chair beside Anna, and we can listen to what else Nightcrawler has to say." she said to him with a smile. She didn't mean if she sounded a bit mean, but she really wanted to hear what else Nightcrawler had to say.
